London - 100% office based 

£70-85k negotiable

Our client is a deep tech AI company founded by a group of MIT technology enthusiasts, engineers, computer scientists. This tiny, well-funded, start-up provides Location Intelligence technologies through unique products and tailored solutions that utilize AI and advanced analytics to extract insights from geospatial data to drive business growth.

The Senior UX/UI Designer will be ‘in at the start’ in a new London team set to grow rapidly over the coming months.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for building an effective user experience for products and solutions. By working cross-functionally, you will understand needs from the product management, engineering, and business stakeholders and will be able to build technologies that fit those needs. 

The Senior UX/UI Designer role:

  • Ensure that established design standards are consistently applied within the design work
  • Engage with product management, engineering, business stakeholders, and third-party vendors to understand the project
  • Develop documentation, user flows, annotated wireframes, and interactive prototypes
  • Leverage user testing to make product improvements 

Qualifications and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Design, or a related field of study
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in UI/UX Design
  • Experience with data-driven UX research and clean UI development
  • Proficient in UI design and wireframing tools (eg. XD, Sketch, Figma)
  • Good understanding of fundamental visual design disciplines
  • Experience with geospatial products or complex multi-layered visualization platforms
