Our client is an early-stage AI start-up with significant funding secured, early infrastructure built, MVP already live, 3 major pilot partners in motion. The vision set: become the agentic workflow automation for accounting.

As Founding Engineer you will create the tech team. As Head of Engineering you’ll touch architecture, infra, product, distribution; you’ll write code that defines the company - and make decisions that define its culture.

The person we’re seeking will indisputably have tech start-up experience.

You will have built and shipped products end-to-end (ideally B2B), without permission or supervision; think in systems, and care about the user experience as much as the latency; be excited by getting into the codebase; when something breaks at midnight you fix it before messaging anyone; you see ambiguity as a challenge, not a blocker.

You will be ownership-oriented, obsessed with quality, user-driven, eager to get in front of customers, exceptionally driven, hungry, passionate, personable.

Tech stack: TypeScript, Next.js, Turborepo, AWS, Terraform, Langchain, OpenAI integrations
